Stop Flooding My Record Collection is a charity exhibition featuring original artworks inspired by a collection of jazz records that was collected over 50 years, and was salvaged from the floods. The old LP covers, damaged beyond repair, have been re-imagined and remade by a super-talented line-up of artists, illustrators, and designers.
Together with creative genius' Paul Hermes and Nick Munt from Lifelounge Agency we submitted our interpretation of a record by 1920s coronet jazz maestro Bix Biederbeck.
One of the first things that leapt out us in the images we managed to source of Bix (pictured above)was how immaculately groomed he was, hair alway perfectly parted. This was the theme we ran with for our response. Crafted using real hair, card, letraset and reflective vinyl.
